Today me and my media class went to see the new Working Title film Everest at the IMax cinema. The IMax cinema has surround sound which creates a immersive experience as well as state of the art 3D technology on a 52mm high by 70mm wide screen; the biggest screen in the UK. Everest was perfect for the IMax as it made you feel like you were up on the mountain with the climbers, making whole experience intense. The film would have been less exiting on a 2D screen, however the constant action and exitement of the film would still come across on a smaller screen. The technology in this film was amazing and very realistic which added to the authenticity of the film. The film was very good to watch and exiting throughout and the whole experience was enhanced by the IMax technology.
